Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only

This is a passage from the Bible that illustrates how actions are more important than words.
In another Bible parable, two sons are asked by their father to work in the vineyard. The first says he will, but doesn’t. The second says he won’t, but eventually does. Jesus calls the second a faithful servant.
Rush Limbaugh has a phrase to describe the behaviors of the Left called, Symbolism over Substance. It’s a principle that suggests, what a man says is more important than what a man actually does. I see this used by the Left constantly, and they are allowed to do so.
A man who is a progressive can be a serial womanizer, but if he hashtags #Metoo, he’s ok with the Left.
A person who is a progressive can have 10 houses, fly on private planes, have 20 gas guzzling cars, be if he shows up at a Climate Change Rally, he’s a hero.
A person who is a progressive can be filthy rich, make tons of money by obtaining insider information, have stock in hated companies, by if he rails about punishing the rich, he is viewed as a savior.
Why are people so gullible to be swayed by words and not demand actions?
For the first time in ages, we had a president who delivered on almost all of his campaign promises and he was vilified. He said he’d put America first, he did, then was called xenophobic. He said he’d deliver a vaccine before the end of 2020, was mocked for it, then delivered. What did he get for his actions, more ridicule and blame for not enough vaccines fast enough.
Joe Biden will be characterized as a great unifier, though his actions will target and alienate half of America. He will be revered as a champion of women, when in reality, he sexualizes women and just passed a transgender executive order that will hurt women. I could go on, but you get the point.
It’s simply frustrating that we now live in a society were words are more important than deeds.

I had paragraphs when I wrote it on my notepad, but for some reason, when I posted it, the paragraphs were deleted.

Democrats are easily soothed by what they want to hear. Trump didnt say things that aligned with their beliefs so he was immediately deemed racist, white supremacist, homophobic, etc. even though he always put America first.
Now half the country is going to be spoon fed what they want to hear from the MSM news, social media, and the new administration. These people have the same IQ as Biden. The other half Of the country will watch in disgust at the clear and palpable contrast of how the administration operates and is treated by the media, while everything Trump did is wiped from the history books. And the morons will rejoice at their own demise!

I’m amazed by this.
Democrats will actually vote for candidates who pass legislation that is detrimental to their own livelihoods, but If he says the right words, it won’t matter.

This is absolutely true. They can be swooned by a 78 year old man with a history of racism and inappropriate behavior with girls.

But he smiles and winks at them. Makes them feel good. Not a bad meanie like Trump.

They are very much children.

This is one thing that astounds me.
Joe has a history of racist legislation, racist associations and racist comments, but because he was Obama’s VP, all is forgiven.
