At what point does South Park introduce "NPC Principal"?

I think the NPC meme will die pretty quickly. It’s not really triggering anyone except fringe liberals.

They won't. SP doesn't really latch onto stuff like that.

You greatly underestimate the ability of South Park to take something incredibly obscure and make it ridiculous.

Remember Troll Trace where they took a Danish Song from a virtually unknown TV series in the 80's and used the frick out of it?

Not as much as they hate liberal nutjobs.

Yeah, I really don’t care. I don’t see this meme sticking.

I do wish they realized that Trump would win the election, because that season they were spot on with the theme of trolling. 2016 was the Year of the Troll, and in the DVD commentary they realized they fricked up something that could have been glorious. They said they regret not involving Milo in the season in a major way since they were onto something, but shite the bed with the execution.

I mean I’m a South Park P1 for sure, I just don’t think that the NPC meme is as easily transferable as something like the overly PC douchebag. I mean Jeremy Piven starred in a movie making fun of PC douchebags in the early 90s. The PC Principal character highlight various forms of hypocrisy. The NPC meme feels too much like a 4Chan troll that’s niche.

They hate Trump but they are aware of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I don’t think they are in the Late Night Talk Colbert/Maher/Kimmel nutjob hatred territory.

Maher may loathe Trump as much as the rest of them (if not more), but he’s not cut from the same cloth. Maher is debatably the most right wing of the late night hosts these days, which is objectively fricking insane. Here he was last week as the only sane guy on the panel saying that to say you can’t quote Winston Churchill is insane: LINK

If true, they do a good job at not letting it completely consume their show writing like just about every late night TV show host. South Park does a pretty good job at mocking both sides

He’s principled in free speech and his hatred of all religions, and calls out the Left in certain things, by Maher has full blown Trump Derangement Syndrome. He’s convinced of Russian collusion and every MSNBC psycho talking point.
