So, to stop Socialism in Argentina, US taxpayers are funding their government? Sounds like Socialism.
Exactly, its hilarious but unsurprising that a fox news regurgitator wouldn't recognize this. Congrats to Argentina on its free money to fund socialism.
It was a currency swap, not a bailout. As the Argentinian peso just went up, that means Trump made a profit for us. People don't even know what they are complaining about. They just hear a dollar amount and their brain shuts off.
It's really absurd how many people bitch about spending but then bitch when Trump makes money for the country that isn't taken from the taxpayers' checks. These small minds think taxes are the only way to generate revenue and get really angry and emotional when proven wrong.

I remember about 18 months ago our distributors in Argentina sent us a mile long email whining about Milei and his policies destroying their order quotas.
I’m guessing they didn’t want that gravy train getting cut off

The U.S. taxpayers are not funding Argentina's government. The U.S. did a currency swap, dollars for pesos, which has turned out to be a good investment, as the peso has risen since the elections on Sunday.

This is what the bailout is about
Wow you people know absolutely nothing. This is to combat Chinas capitalistic influence in Argentina.
The stupidity of most of you is astounding.

Why would the USA need to do that? What was going on in Argentina since Milei won the presidency that required such a massive currency swap?
