How about we stop NGO's from getting federal money to fund LA riots and other local terror groups? Thanks to the Biden administration these NGO's are everywhere in this country.

I was a combat engineer who deployed. We had clerk typists with us, cooks, supply and so on and so on. They all deployed they were all away from their famies, they all were under the stress of being in a war zone.

All have earned whatever they are entitled to by law. Everyone supports the military but wants the personnel to get nothing.

All those people who were deployed earned it.

The reason it is offered is because that they may be called.

If no one ever went to war, such benefits would not be offered.

I have some buddies that are retired military and the benefits, pensions and shite they get is fricking staggering. Hell they all retired 5 years or more ago and we are still paying for their moves, kids school etc etc

And they get to come home in coffins when some politician's missile company backers decide we need to set out on another "peacekeeping mission".

Don't hate on the people. One F35 costs more than 100 million. One tomahawk missile costs 2 mil. Almost 10 billion for one aircraft carrier. Of those getting fat on "defense" spending, active military are probably the least of them.
