I think the country is at the beginning of a long period of unrest, instability, violence, acts of vengeance, vigilantism, and resistance by both sides of the political spectrum. I believe this is the commencement of a cold civil war.
Around 65-70M people are going to vote for Trump in November. They aren’t going away after Trump is no longer president, be that in 2021 or 2025. The Republican Party will not protect them nor fight for their interests. Therefore, I believe they will take matters into their own hands, sometimes openly but more so in an underground movement.
We are sitting on a powder keg. Yugoslavia was kept under control by the strong grip of a charismatic dictator. When he died, the lid was eventually blown off the simmering pot and Yugoslavia was broken into pieces. I’m not sure that scenario happens here but I do feel that this place is in line for its very own Time Of Troubles.

If you don't already do it, start stocking up on non perishable foods, and start learning all that you can about edible wild plants. There are a lot more of them, and they are more common than most people realize.

The real question is why are we being forced to live in the same society as these people? Our ancestors didn’t create this country from a wilderness so we could live as second class citizens, not be allowed to organize for our own interests and picked off one by one.

More unlikely than likely but definitely a possibility.
All it takes is a bold Governor and an independent, fed up legislature to begin the conversation.
Such a path will be a messy one. Corporations will make threats, state economy will be threatened, media and propaganda moves will be extensive, agitators and protestors will be funded and mobilized, politicians will be pressured and bribed, deep state will be deployed, and you can’t discount the US government arresting or killing the orchestrators of such a move.
An attempt of breakaway would require deft movement and political skill. I believe it would require world pressure applied to the US to not violently clamp down on such a move. If it is pursued as a skilled political movement that has the strong support of the people, along with determination and careful planning, it could be a possibility.

Once “they” get their way it’ll be smiles and rose petals like the Barry Obama years. If you love Israel though it’s gonna be back to worrying non stop about them. When Barry was potus I swear he would have laughed if Israel was attacked or in serious peril. Under Trumps presidency I haven’t had to worry about Israel at all. I’ll miss that and Ivanka big time.
