It appears this object has actually been “decommissioned.”
I don’t believe that was the case with the Lake Michigan object/event earlier today—and certainly not the case in Montana last night.

… except unlike in 1938, there are masses of civilian digital experts who are able to track—if not fact check—many of these citings.
I’m not suggesting there isn’t an element of the public who won’t panic as a result of what’s happening; but there are far more tech savvy, “common” folks (and skeptics!) alive now than there were in Orson’s day.

So a Train derails from a railroad owned by the wealthiest corporations in the world that causes a giant cloud of polyvinyl chloride across eastern Ohio. Not a peep from the mass media. And then at the same time 3 “UFO” are shot down gaining all media exposure. Coincidence?
