It's funny how Boeing's quality standards and attention to detail suddenly increased once the FAA got involved.
Wasn't it also the FAA that pushed the max 8 even though they knew about the mcas problem?

There it is. You’re one of those who is likely to get laid off? No wonder you hate Trump. Learn to code.
I work for a private company. So no.
Let me ask you another question.
If successful and the FBI/CIA are abolished or significantly reduced, do you think their respective metrics relating to crime will increase negatively, remain as is, or reduce positively?
The IRS is now being targeted as well with mass layoffs. Do you think ppl will be more inclined to more commit tax fraud this year than previous years due to the overall weakness of the IRS now? Or do you think everything will be better in that area and there will be no unintended consequences?

What if I told you there were way more aviation incidents last year during the same period of time. We're just hearing about them more because it's being used to push OMB.
Newsweek

According to the data, there were 62 aviation incidents in January and 25 so far in February, as of Wednesday.

In 2024, between January 1 and February 19, there were 123 aviation accidents of various severity according to data from the NTSB. There were 18 fatal incidents, but the number of fatalities was fewer than in 2025, with 42 reported.Throughout the year, 1,415 aviation accidents were reported, including 257 fatal incidents. Of the 179 fatal incidents that Newsweek obtained records of, there were 306 reported deaths.

Didn’t half the IRS agents admit that they were delinquent on taxes? Kinda blows your point away. We need less of you scum running the government not more. Sorry you can’t pin this on OMB

I don't work for the government, and I have never worked for the government.
Again, it's ridiculous to believe that cutting all this will not result in some adverse outcomes.
It's just as ridiculous to upvote and believe all these issues we are having can simply be boiled down to the DEI hire, which seems to be the go-to explanation for why anything bad is happening, given these cuts.

Do you think the FAA layoffs and Elon/SpaceX's intimidation of the Air traffic control headquarters do not affect the team members' daily lives/work?
Maintenance crews work for the airlines. They are not employed by the FAA. How is a plane cabin filled with smoke caused by FAA layoffs?

When massive tech layoffs happen at Google, Facebook, etc., do you believe that impacts employees work effort and focus at Microsoft, IBM, or insert tech company?
It is basic human behavior.
Business leaders are taking time out of their day to address the disruptions and are asking team members to stay focused. It trickles down all the way to shop floor personnel

No way the pilot in charge again was a woman.

Obviously, something is going on
4 incidents are getting all of the attention.
A soldier flew a helicopter where she wasn't supposed to be at an altitude she knew was not approved. I still say that accident was intentional. At best it was gross incompetence by the pilot.
Next incident was on the ground when Japan Air pilot try took a horrlble turn angle while taxiing after landing. pilot error.
3rd incident was Moltely Cru plane that front landing gear broke off during landing . Mechanical records indicate they were aware of front landing gear needing replaced. Mechanical / owner issue.
4th issue was female pilot attempted to make a vertical landing. Pilot error
And now a cabin filled with smoke .
How are any of these FAA issues?

Yup. He got run off and I’m still crushing it. He even called to talk about it after it was all over. He never knew they were giving him one last chance to act right and not the other way around.
Anyway the cabin filling with air is a delta maintenance problem and has nothing to do with the FAA.
