Then why do you have to lie about what CNN reported? Because that’s what your post does - it deceptively cuts the quote short in order to change what they reported.

Sad, really

just if you want to cry about CNN being wrong and then saying they were wrong

don't do it by being bias against CNN's original position

WTF are you talking about?

They claimed proof of Russian collusion because Sessions intentionally withheld these visits, when he had an FBI email that said it was OK.

Perhaps CNN shouldn't dredge the streets for an 'expert' that isn't really an 'expert', in what they self-proclaim to be

The FBI email said it was OK as long as he wasn't discussing campaign issues in the meetings. Turns out he was.

Lie?

CNN's expert called him a liar
quote:

A legal expert who regularly assists officials in filling out the form disagrees with the Justice Department's explanation, suggesting that Sessions should have disclosed the meetings.

"My interpretation is that a member of Congress would still have to reveal the appropriate foreign government contacts notwithstanding it was on official business," said Mark Zaid, a Washington attorney who specializes in national security law.

And CNN followed that up with this little tidbit
quote:

Sen. Chuck Schumer, the Senate minority leader, told CNN in an April 28 interview, "I'd be happy if they brought him before the committee and had him testify."
"Look, there are a lot of questions about Jeff Sessions," the New York Democrat said of his former colleague. "That's why I called on him to resign."

Sessions should resign because he followed exactly what the FBI told him to do???

And now he has the emails to back him up

No he didn’t. The expert said that his interpretation of the disclosure requirements is more expansive than Sessions’ or the FBI’s. He didn’t say that Sessions, nor the FBI, nor the DOJ were lying.

It’s pretty clear that Chuck Schumer thinks that Sessions should resign because “there are a lot of questions about Jeff Sessions,” not because he followed exactly what the FBI told him. It’s right there in the damn quote you posted

You need to work on your reading comprehension.

Has Trump ever said "I made a mistake" or walked back any of his, to be charitable, inaccurate comments?

Isn't it funny the "mistakes" always are negative about Trump? I mean, I could sort of believe these were honest "mistakes" if every now and then the "mistake" went the other way. But they don't.

But we are coming to a "truth." Mistakes are part of the process, guys. You should trust CNN more because of all this!

I underlined that part and everything for you. Could not have made it any easier for you to follow. Here it is again

There is no should, could, maybe or might have.

"Would still HAVE to reveal"! Meaning no choice, and the FBI didn't give him that choice. Guess what? Their expert was wrong. How convenient
