An attempt to invoke the 25th Amendment in this case was an act of treason.

It was a complete attempt to undermine the system. The 25th Amendment’s (specifically Section 4) purpose is to remove a President when he/she can no longer discharge the duties of the office. It’s purpose is not to remove a President who you think has done something wrong (which we still have no proof of here). When a President has done something wrong, we have the impeachment process to remove them, not the 25th Amendment.

An attempt to use the 25th Amendment here was simply an act of treason by those who did not want Donald Trump to be the President of the United States.

All of them need to swing on a rope.

The 25th Amendment was ratified in 1967 after the JFK assassination. Although he died right after getting shot, The Government needed a way to remove the president if he were to be incapacitated, like in a coma or brain dead to the point that he couldn’t do the job anymore.

What McCabe and Co. did was use that to reverse an election because Trump was going to put an end to their decades of corruption. It was a failed coup and it is treason.

I know not one thing they did could be wrong in your mind as long as it is done against President Trump.

The 25th Amendment deals with removing a President who can’t discharge their duties because of things like incapacity. If a President needs to be removed for doing wrong, that’s the purpose of the impeachment process. Attempting to remove a duly elected President via the 25th Amendment who is not incapacited is simply wrong.

They certainly shouldn't threaten his life. But he's earned at least a cursory side-eye glance at the 25th amendment by any sane Cabinet.

I don’t recall any such attempt. Sure this isn’t in your mind?

I don’t know how I can explain it in a simpler way, that is not the purpose of the 25th Amendment. A President who has done wrong (which we still have no solid proof of here) should be removed through the impeachment process.

Maybe you don’t want to call it an attempt, but they likely do it if they think they have the cabinet support.

That is horse shite.

Disagreeing with leftists doesn't qualify.

Calling anyone else's mental health into question given the parade of kooks you support is absolutely fricking hilarious.

It is the FBI’s job to investigate crime, not determine the “fitness” of the POTUS.

The very fact that they were discussing this in any form or fashion, even if half-assed joking, is treasonous.
