An adult here to teach today’s generation the fundamentals of how inflation works.

They really should have made a School House Rock video back in the day when they had a chance to, but then again, it too failed to stick.

I don't remember what inflation rates he inherited from Carter but I remember prime interest rates were 12-13%. I remember because I bought my first house in 1980-81.

9.9%. Carter was the highest of all presidents I believe, but that’s driven as much or more by Congress than any one president, and both houses were Democrats. There is simply no shifting blame for those horrific years.
