If I’m correct net neutrality was put into effect by Obama, and our great president repealed it. So, it is still the companies choice whether they want to charge users to use their product or not, just like it was before it was put into place. If they didn’t charge us before, they won’t charge users now. So why is the left having a meltdown.

Correct me if I’m wrong and things won’t just go on as normal?

It was put into effect under the Obama administration due to a 2014 court ruling deciding that the FTC did not have the authority from Congress to impose penalties on non-common carrier services by common carrier companies.

That stems from penalties imposed by the FTC ($100 million fine) from 2010 actions by att I believe.
