That's not how it works in our country. Your guilt must be proven, not your innocence. And don't give me the tired "this isn't a courtroom" line. The assumption of innocence is an American principle that should have universal application throughout our society -- because were we to generally apply the converse to it, a presumption of guilt, we would become an authoritarian state. Of course, this would make the new "liberal" left positively giddy.
