No idea. Go ask a professional. I'm better with cosmology and astronomy. I've asked my concerning questions and they were answered well enough for me to agree with it. If you don't then you don't, but I truly think it's a shame that it's a political thing right now.

The fact that it snows in December proves that climate change is not real. Derp

The data has been shown to have been fudged in the past via the "Climategate" document dump, and more recently by changing standards for data points like margin of error. Over 90% of the projected scenarios from the "worse case" to the "best case" to the "most likely" have been wrong. What does that tell you?

(You can find this information at various sites like WUWT).

Okay then we're starting off in two places that won't see eye to eye. Agree to disagree.

But it's just weird that when the data shows the month to be below average people use it as an example against climate change, but if the same people release a hotter than average month, the same people say the data is fudged and the conversation pretty much has to end there.

PS... I, in no way, disagree with your reasons to seriously question climate change. It truly would seem like the most easy way to throw on more taxes and be a money grab. The government has done it before and will again and even more of a shame try and get science to back it up.

But this, this to me is the exception. I truly think we may have an issue one day. I got to see the core samples, and I got to ask the right people my questions that I didn't think they could answer. They seemed genuine and honest about their findings. I also think that clean energy is the future regardless, and in the off chance that this is all not true, cleaning up the earth and making the air better can't be a bad thing.

I'm just asking you how those questions were answered for you. What questions did you have and how were they answered? Maybe I can use the same sources.

Are you familiar with the information produced in the Climategate document dump? These are not interpretations of data, they are mostly private emails and correspondence from the actual scientists...well known and often cited scientists..discussing how to "hide the decline in temperatures" and who to pick for their "unbiased" peer reviews.

Does that sound like solid scientific methodology and mind set of unbiased scientists?

Climate change lost traction when it became over politicized. It's real, but scaring people into political action and being smug as shite in the process isn't a winning formula.

Yeah, I'm gonna call bull shite until you can prove that the earth hasn't gotten warmer and colder for billions of years.

Hey I got a super duper scientific control to verify climate change, throw out the previous several billion years and we'll use with the past 150 yrs as our baseline. Now we can finally pin this sketchy climate change thingy to human activity.

Actually the climate change folks claim any variation in temperature or precipitation up or down from what they deem a normal range is climate change, that's why the term global warming was nixed a few years ago.

Now someone give all us climate change deniers what the normal ranges are for precipitation and temperature over a range of tens of thousands of years and we can start having a honest conversation.

I've seen this for at 2 decades. Either side will take the current situation where they live or even across the U.S. and use it to support or deny climate change. Overly simplistic for those that really believe what they are writing.

Climate change is real. History shows that it constantly changes. I'm a denier that it is influenced by man. I can't believe what the scientists are saying because of what the previous guy wrote plus predictions from years ago (see Al Gore) haven't even come close to happening and another plus is we were taught in school that the earth was cooling.

So, has the technology changed enough to do a 180 in 50 years, a minuscule time in earth years? Does anyone think current technology will not improve? Remember, they are using MODELS and remember, they tweak the results occasionally. Also remember that these scientists must produce some kind of results in order to keep their income stream.

It's sorta like the current state of the MSM, I think they lie so much I wouldn't believe them if they actually told the truth. Kinda like the guy that cried wolf.

This was when I stopped looking at both sides of the global warming claims. Based on the emails these people are lying their collective asses off.
