How about we not make this political and just use the merits of how bad it is, to outlaw it. I think since an overwhelming majority of us think its wrong then we need to make it known to those who can put a stop to it. I know thats a quandary for us because it will be our politicians who have to sign off on it but let's get rid of the finger pointing and blame game so we can get this outlawed because the first time someone tries to assign blame then the other side Will circle the wagons and dig in deeper. No matter if they're right or wrong. We all know this and see it often.

Its not just politics- its a reality when the president threatens to go after state legislators for trying to reform asset forfeiture.
