The only way you could do that effectively is to have a government sanctioned base of "approved" suppliers.

Just like the beer industry. They aren't busting down people's doors to confiscate homebrew in their garages.

What are you basing that claim on?

I reject the idea that America will be a better place if marijuana is sold in every corner store. And I am astonished to hear people suggest that we can solve our heroin crisis by legalizing marijuana – so people can trade one life-wrecking dependency for another that’s only slightly less awful. Our nation needs to say clearly once again that using drugs will destroy your life. In the ’80s and ’90s, we saw how campaigns stressing prevention brought down drug use and addiction. We can do this again.

The quote above and his others like it illustrate my point just fine.

There seems to be little comparison to home brewed beer or wine and pot. (it's still illegal to sell home brewed beer or wine)

How much illegal booze trafficking do you know of?

Apparently enough for a tv show or two.

Sessions is retarded. The drug trade is a cash-heavy industry. The players can't settle disputes in court, so the do it on the street. What's the answer to these assholes? Keep the disputes from being something that can be hashed out in court like civilized people. It's a cash-heavy industry with no legal recourse for dispute BECAUSE numbnuts like Sessions keep it illegal.

How fricking hard is this to figure out?

Yeah, thats nice. I asked for the basis of this claim:

He's got extremely poor reasoning ability (or/and) he's bought and paid for.

Your post does not provide a basis beyond your personal opinion. That said, you haven't addressed the claim that he is "bought and paid for".
What are you basing that claim on?

That would do nothing to solve those types of disputes.
Going to court to settle financial disputes, go absolutely nowhere with out some written agreement as to the legal terms of the arrangement. Without that, it's a "he said/she said" kind of thing.

Yes it does. There is an abundance of scientific research on marijuana (in general, and) dependency and heroin dependency. What he implies is demonstrably false, so he's either ignorant to the data, unable to reason through its implications, or he's bought and paid for by lobbyists that would prefer to keep marijuana schedule 1.

The same people that claim weed is dangerous are cramming cheeseburgers down their mouth daily. Laughable really.

The reason they don't want to legalize it. $$$$$

Why get a cut in taxes when you can get all of it through asset forfeiture- no charges or even convictions required.

It's worse than that.

The same people who adamantly deny an 80 year old chemotherapy patient access to a drug which stimulates appetite and offesets the side affects of chemo therapy have no problem with KFC advocating that a bucket full of fried chicken with a side of lard potatoes and chicken fat gravy is a healthy dinner for children or that a magical clown handing out toys is a fine campaign to feed children nutritionless cow anus and salt patties every day.
