Yep and that was even before the riots, looting and arson.

Lucky
The numbers finally are coming in
Biden and the bunch will have less votes than 2016 combined
2008 saw over 1 million votes cast in the Dem primary
2016 saw 750,000 votes cast in Dem primary
2020 is at 660,000 votes cast with 92% of the vote in.
This is not a good look at all especially with the protests etc so many people should've gone to the booths. Enthusiasm still isn't there. No wonder why Kamala and nationals Dems blamed it on voter suppression.

It will be interesting to see how Ossoft does. He true to run for congressman by hiding his party, but once revealed, his support plummeted -- our version of Beto.
Ossoff barely missed the cutoff to avoid a runoff, looks like he and Tomlinson will be on the ballot in August.
Lot of “offs” in that sentence.

He's refusing to answer if he'll vote to defund the police. He's avoiding it like the plague.
Dems will be pouring outside money in this race.

Yes...the 14th in NW Georgia. I believe there were around 10 GOP candidates. Whoever wins this (and the runoff) will likely be unopposed in November.

Don’t know how he’d get to decide that issue as a U.S. Senator, but I’m sure he’ll try to screw up fed funding for that effort (Tomlinson is actually sane and was the mayor of Columbus)

Most likely, though he won’t have the benefit of being the only race like he did in 2017

amazing that it is just a given (and true actually) that people can be bought with bells and whistles
After particpating in a few elections it should take a rather large amount of thought to change from one party to the other. All the money is aimed at those who flip back and forth on a whim.

Agreed. And Perdues polling has actually been decent against Osoff
Georgia definitely is a purple state but it's a myth it will change to blue this election cycle.
I think Trump will carry it again by 5 points and Perdue/Collins will win Senate seats.

Collins/Loeffler/Dem will likely go into a runoff

Update: WSB-TV results are showing Ossoff at 50.0% with 96% of precincts in.

Question - Does Fulton DA go to a runoff or does the leader move onto a general election?
The winner has about 43% so far but I don’t see them gaining anyone from the Soros candidate bowing out.

It'll go to a runoff since no candidate hit 50%+1.

I believe he outdrew all the Democratic candidates combined in the Georgia primary yesterday. The OP is fake news and will now (rightly) be laughed off this forum.
