About Manafort's tax evasion charge...

Why isn't he being tried by the IRS in tax court? IF he is acquitted of tax evasion in Judge Ellis" court, is he still subject to IRS trial? IF he is convicted of tax evasion in Judge Ellis' court, is this grounds for appeal? And why didn't the IRS come after him for tax evasion anyway?

He is guilty of tax evasion
For a normal person you would pay back taxes plus a fine
But mueller has been after trump for 2 years and this is ALL hes got so they are trying to make an example of him
He will likely skate on most charges and get some probation, community service and fines

Why won’t he get the same treatment as turbo tax Timmy?

IRS handles the civil aspects. DOJ (Tax Division) handles criminal matters. The question is why isn't the Tax Division of the DOJ handling this.

Exactly. That's what I want to know, too.

Wasn’t this question brought up in closing arguments?
