Easy for Sue Bird to take this position now that she is retired. To hell with all the other girls/women coming up if they have to compete with men to make the team.
As for Rapinoe, I wish some 13 year old boy would take her place on the US Women's national team at the World Cup in July. Can you imagine the carnage? Would be glorious.
