you can’t be serious right? You should look up Jordan Peterson’s story or James Damore and google. I’m not spinning anything. You are trying to reduce the argument to bathrooms in North Carolina.

I just think it’s crazy to pass legislation dealing with bathrooms. I never gave bathrooms a second thought until Republicans passed a bathroom bill. I could t believe that was a thing

Everything is a mess. There’s hypocrisy on both sides. I’ll be the first to admit that. I just think (and I may be biased) that there is malicious hostility on the side of the left when they are trying to destroy lives, restrict free speech, and get people fired for thinking differently. That’s what I have a problem with.

I meant as long as you don’t do anything weird. I can’t judge your intent until you’ve committed an offense. There are quite a few legal protections afforded to people in a locker room. If all you do is go in and change, fine

You are fine with behaviors you don’t think are “weird”, but if we drilled down on the subject we could find something you are uncomfortable with that the law wouldn’t protect you from. That’s why society has norms to reduce the incidence of awkward situations based on the overwhelming majority of the population.
What if I think that having a “woman” with a dick and balls go into the bathroom alone with my 12 year old daughter is “weird”?

I’ve made my position pretty clear. I don’t care if you go into a bathroom marked for women. I really don’t. As long as you don’t do anything that crosses legal lines, but that is rather obvious. Believe it or not, that doesn’t give you a license to see how many naked women you can eye in an hour. Plenty of laws exist to protect reasonable expectation of privacy even in a locker room setting.

I understand your concern about your daughter going into a bathroom, but do you
really think explicit sex-based bathroom laws are going to protect your daughter? Or what does the risk even look like?
Care to share any facts on transgender lawbreakers? I could maybe be convinced of some legislation if there were an epidemic of transgressions, but I don’t think we should legislate just because you think it’s “weird”
Is that a good rationale for laws now?

I get why you are trying to steer the conversation to bathroom laws. I’m not for laws. That’s not what this thread was about.
A better example of what this thread is about would be James Damore’s memo. A memo filled with scientific citations. A memo that he got fired for.
