A great irony of the left

We all know about their religion of climate change. Anyone who even asks a question or mentions new evidence gets labeled a social outcast that DENIES science! They claim we shouldn’t even engage these people because the science is settled.
But in the same breath, these liberals claim gender and race are social constructs. Men with a dick and balls can urinate in the woman’s bathroom if they simply say they think like a female. How can they deny SCIENCE that is more definitive than any single climate model ever made? The science I’m speaking of is the X and Y chromosome. They deny that men have greater levels of testosterone that leads to different outcomes in employment, etc.
It’s all science. Right?
Hypocrites. All of them.

The only thing they are consistent about is being inconsistent. They should really evaluate their worldviews to see how bankrupt they are.

its pretty obvious the left denies more well established science than someone asking for more definitive evidence of climate change
Their biggest piece of “evidence” or atleast the one that they quote regularly is a poll of scientists... where supposedly 98.6% agree AGW is real. But when you really dig down and look at that paper it’s not as definitive as it sounds. And at the end of the day it’s an opinion. A thousand years ago 98.6% of scientists believed the earth was the center of the universe

It's pretty simple. Sex and gender are not the same thing and we live in a free country. If someone wants to act differently that their chromosomes would otherwise dictate, more power to them.
You know what's actually ironic? The part of less government wants to tell people what they should do with their bodies and which bathrooms they should use.

When did I say people can’t call themselves whatever they want? I totally agree with you that people should be free to call themselves whatever they want.
But how did this entire issue start? The left tried to publicly crucify those that don’t call them the gender pronoun they WANT to be called. So when you try to infringe on someone else’s livelihood we are forced to go back to basic science principles and say “well actually ma’am you aren’t a Zir, you have XX chromosomes and a pair of ovaries”
So yea, people can do what they want. Tell that to the skyscreamers that can’t handle being called a different pronoun.

Sex is a biological/physiological concept. Defined by chromosomes.
Gender is cultural/social/behavioral in nature.
The scientific community doesn’t really debate that there is a distinction. Not sure why this is hard to grasp

I agree. And then the left confused the definitions. Bathrooms were divided by SEX. Your group decided they should be divided by gender. That’s not science, it’s mental illness.
If everything is as simple as you say then we should just be able to put an XX and XY on the door and all is good right? Or separate sports by chromosomes. You ok with that?

It doesn’t matter how or why they were previously divided. It wasn’t a law. It was just a sign. That’s why North Carolina had to pass legislation (more laws on the book) to stipulate exactly who could use each bathroom.
You’re getting things twisted. Your side is trying to legislate behavior, not the other way around

You are changing the subject to legislation. I don’t want to get into a debate about laws and bathrooms. The only thing I will say is that there is a safety and privacy issue with bathrooms. But that’s ok, it won’t be long before there will be a #metoo movement with men going in women’s bathrooms. Your views are self defeating because they are illogical.
What I want to talk about is the fact that liberals deny scientific differences between sexes and are trying to apply the gender definition (which shouldn’t even be a relevant definition) to the sex definition.
Why is this idea of “gender” relevant? Is there a definition for the guy under the bridge that thinks he’s a butternut squash? No, that’s called psychopathy

This thread is hilarious. The same people blaming the left as hyporcrites are the same people who think the world is 6k years old, think gay sex cause hurricanes, actively go out of their way to deny the science our best and brightest (and majority) have discovered because it doesn’t fit their agenda.

You seem to lack basic reading comprehension skills. I never stated that the right were ambassadors of science. The left claims to be the party of science as evidenced by their extreme stance on climate change.... science is settled, science can’t be questioned. Wrong again. The left made gender relevant by claiming discrimination and trying to ruin lives for every mentally disturbed person that feels “offended”. You could start by understanding basic logic. In a two party system (which is effectively what we are), when one party has conflicting political stances on certain issues, so does the other! It’s not that hard.
I understand the point you’re trying to make but I just want to be sure you aren’t pretending the right is doing the exact same thing.
