70% of new new jobs added under Trump were people on the sidelines

Most interesting part of the Ivanka/Hilton interview was Ivanka stating that of all the new jobs added, 70% were filled by people who were out of the work force and coming back in. That’s an incredible thing and shows they’re seeing added incentive making it worth their while.
The unemployment stat is kinda bullshite unless you figure in the people able to work and aren’t

The unemployment figures have been fricked around with so much over the past three decades ..... who knows what is what anymore?
When Obama quit counting those no longer on unemployment or those on welfare and food stamps as “unemployed “ that sorta ended it for those numbers IMHO. In other words, when Obama said if they were on social welfare they didn’t count as unemployed or if they simply ran out of options and could not find work ... they no longer counted either.
Well, the unemployment numbers were fricked after that.

Anyone who is capable of working, but chooses not to, should be called unemployed, period. I took my fair share of crap jobs before I became a skilled laborer. Filed for unemployment once in my life when I was 21 after a tornado cleaned my job to a concrete slab... and got hired at my current job on the day the first unemployment pay was to kick in. That was in 1999, and I'm not even in a heavily populated area with a bunch of employment.
If people want to work, they'll work.

quote:don't tell 90dodgeprofessional this. i've been reminding him for a year that i cited 12 articles showing jobs numbers were massaged during the obama administration - something well documented - but he is obstinately in complete, arrogant denial that i did so. it's hilarious because he acts so condescending to everyone about gdp numbers.
