You should propose a solution.

Carbon cap & trade has already been proposed by multiple people.
Al Gore and his buddy Mo Strong couldn't be here to confirm this, they're busy driving the Brinks truck to the bank.

The analogy is that 150 years to the age of the Earth, is about 3 seconds out of a century.

Glad to see you got the point. The arachnid brass instrument is apparently too dense.

And you don't consider a warming rate of ~1 degree in 3 seconds to be a concern?

Because people wouldn't allow them to steal their money for naturally occurring climate changes.

I'm well aware that this is an incredibly short time for the Earth to be warming this much. That's actually part of the concern.

Not when it happens all the time, relatively reliably, relatively predictably.

I can't do anything about the sun, Spidey. Neither can you.

ETA: And it warms up 30 to 40 degrees in some single days where I live - that doesn't alarm me, either.

Stop being obtuse, the point is we have a very, very, VERY miniscule amount of data, yet you and the people you follow feel that it is enough to take drastic measures.

That's actually quite a bit of data. I have no idea where you got that idea.

Don't sell the climate changers short.

Once they fail in convincing people about the CO2 bullshite, they will start claiming we need to "control" the Sun.

Of course, this is assuming that they will finally tell the world what the "correct" global temperature is supposed to be.

He claims to have a PhD in physics yet he started a thread on the O-T Lounge five months ago asking the best way to keep his water pipes from freezing....in New Orleans.

Really? Can you please show me the last time in Earth's history the entire Earth has warmed 1 degree Centigrade in 3 seconds?

Of course it's fudged data and apples-to-oranges data, but let's ignore all that and cripple the economies of the West, right?
