I think the odds that SCOTUS will stop this is very low.
Even if they do it's being done by an EO and if the Dems win the presidency they will reverse it.
A Constitutional amendment is the best way but the chances of that happening are barely above zero.
We might be able to do some limited mitigation by outlawing dual citizenship. That would be helpful but it's not a comprehensive solution.
