That's something probably not uncommon, but some misconception or detachment from reality that people who are anti-Trump will never see beyond other than shouting about "stop giving tax breaks to the rich!"
We're gonna see the middle class getting fricked harder, and I'm pretty sure it's already happening.

I think it’s more of a way to fight back . They can’t send trade jobs to China . If a lot of trade workers retire to live off UBI it would cause major issues and drive up the pay to a crazy amount.

Why decline it ? We should be using some of the money fight back against the democrats. Or use it to support companies in the red states .
