Pretrial detention is a major problem in America. J6 was a great example of this, as many posters on here agree.
The problem is those same posters are arguing their out group should face even harsher pretrial detention than the J6 people.
They're holding 2 conflicting viewpoints, based in in/out group dynamics, and they're upset when the hypocrisy is pointed out.

He is the leader of the State. You don't think he could use his bully pulpit to call out activist judges. Stronger bail qualifications? Get the RINOS to vote against protecting Texas citizens?
He is not the mayor of San Marcos but he had no problem calling their city council out.

Meritless.
The problem with j6 is that corrupt prosecutors and complicit judges treated them like murderers. While in this instance murders were treated like jaywalkers.
The hypocrisy is in the justice system not in the evaluation of it.
It's almost like your bar should police these corrupt pieces of shite, but they won't. It's like cops with the blue wall.

I dunno. You're the one who can only make a point when you invalidate reality to attempt to do so

The lunacy with you just doesn't stop, it's relentless.

I've also dismantled your points.
The way you ineffectually run to improperly use these defenses is one of your hallmarks of mediocrity.

Bruh, how many Jan 6 defendants were up for murder, then committed murder since? Hint: it won't be 162.
This is just one state.

Yeah, I'm sure they were bonding out for Jay walking or spitting on the the sidewalk charges!

That's not the paradigm.
Watch the video. The examples aren't even for people initially accused of murder other than one.

Of course it is. Why weren't these people all treated like J6 defendants?

The J6 people should have been treated more like the defendants in TX. That's the point.
I said during the J6 saga when the NPCs were focused on "no due process" that the real issue was the pretrial detention. I wasn't even quiet about telling those who melted in response I was saving it to bring up to show their hypocrisy when the defendants were in their perceived out-group.
This thread is just playing that hypocrisy card I was very open in warning about years ago.
ETA: My stance is consistent across both, mind you. That really enrages some.

You support the pretrial detention of the J6ers? Why?
