Failing to act now will encourage Russia to continue to destabilize the region. We don’t turn our back on our Allies.

Both from Louisiana. Surprised at Kennedy. Expected Cassidy.

ETA: I thought that was shutdown last week.

You'd think a country advanced enough to survive Hunter Biden on the board of their elite energy producing corporations could fight their own fricking wars.

They aren’t our allies.

Why should we spend more money on their war than they will?

I am glad that both Senators from my state voted against this. A nation with multi -trillion dollar debt does not need to spend 40 billion on a war that we are not involved in.

Texas, NM, Arizona, (California doesn't count) are counting on us. Zilch!

The Americans that Biden flew by night in Afghanistan on might beg to differ if they still could. Then again, they weren't laundering money for the Bidens.

Louisiana is scrounging to get $300 million to start on a $2 billion dollar bridge across the Mississippi river...They are sending 20 bridges worth over seas to be involved in something that's not our business.

That bridge here would be beneficial to millions of people over the course of its lifespan.

What the hell does $40 billion to Ukraine get us?
