Let's say you get hired to do a job but then learn that you have no assets for immediate success. How do you make a good first impression? You go for the throat of the closest competitors. That kind of success makes a statement with the folks who pay the bills. I believe CNS knew long ago that the only way to make this season a success would be with victories over Tennessee and Auburn. It is indisputable that he showed the A+ game against Tennessee (check the scoreboard). I believe we will see an even better plan against Auburn. We have a saying in the military...club the wolf closest to the wagon and then work your way out. CNS is doing exactly that. I believe his plan is to exorcise the demons of rivals Tennessee and Auburn and then spread the destruction to the rest of the SEC and then establish total dominance. Folks in my line of work call it a battle plan (battlespace dominance, to be precise). Sounds alot like a process to me.
Ok, I get it now. Saban wisely used up all of his energy and coaching skills beating Tennessee, knowing that a loss to Tenn. would be worse than a loss to ULM and Miss. State.
It is amazing how this guy finds evidence of Saban's genius in one of the most embarassing losses in Bama history.
There is probably not a single player on the ULM roster who got an SEC offer (other than to Ole Miss), and this guy just sees more evidence of Saban's ability. What is even funnier is that most of the responses agree with him and congratulate him on his brilliant post.

Repost but worth it. Note the numerous gumps who expressed agreement. They really believe the seeds for "total dominance" are being sown in a 6-5 season.

That is TideFans encapsulated. Those guys over there are such sunshine pumping homer fools that I read it and get nauseated.

Uh-oh. Didn't realize it was a repost. I am donning my flak jacket as I type one-handed.

No, no, I'm with you. That shite is comedy gold. It's like the worst traits of the Bama fanbase distilled down into a paragraph of pure insanity.

It means: eliminate the enemy that can infect the most immediate damage and work on lesser threats thereafter.

If anything this loss vindicates Scoop. He has been the most logical and down to earth Bama fan here. The other Bammers that were calling him a traitor on here owe him a BIG apology.
