I think this will be the biggest (but not the only) determining factor in the match up Friday.

"Arkansas has allowed 20 sacks for 128 lost yards (No. 58 and No. 55, respectively, nationally), while LSU has only allowed 10 sacks for 55 yards (No. 14 and No. 9, respectively).

Furthermore, the Hogs have allowed 65 tackles for 254 total lost yards (No. 71 and No. 72 respectively), while the Tigers have allowed only 47 TFLs for 122 yards (No. 12 and No. 3 respectively)."

I'm confident LSU wins big. Ark is going to get behind and start flingin it like crazy. That's when LSU gets a couple TOs and turns short fields into easy points.

I honestly thought this number would be much higher.

Wilson does seem to get rid of the ball right before he gets crushed though. We didn't even sack him, but we probably hit him 25 times.

well look at that, this offensive line has allowed less sacks than last season's.

oh and by the way, name any player on your D-Line who has more sacks than Jake Bequette.

I'll wait.

Arky won't be able to win either los and that's where games are won or lost. They'll get their yards but not many points.

8 man D line rotation > 1 good Dlineman

Arkansas has only given up 8 sacks in SEC play though so your stats are a little misleading. Most of those sacks came in our first few games when our brand new tackles were still adjusting. They've been pretty solid here recently and Tyler has had plenty of time to throw.

Although i will admit your 2 deep dline is better, we actually have a pretty good 2 deep ourselves. Its not like we just have 1 good player.

This.

We'll double team him if we need to but considering who he's beaten all year and who he's going up against now, It's probably not going to be an issue.

He is a decent run stopper but lets face it, Arks Dline doesn't have anyone worried.

I keep seeing this.

And I keep thinking about those pesky redzone defense statistics

Sam Montgomery is the closest with 7. However, we have more total sacks so that's really a stupid statistic to bring up.

Name how many times Bequette has faced LSU LT Chris Faulk this season?

I won't be holding my breath for Bequette to make a sack on Friday.

MSU was able to get a pretty good amount of pressure last week. Obviously it was nowhere near enough to change the outcome of the game but they definitely made it clear it's a glaring weakness for ARK.

I smell a rout.

Nice reach. Garbage scores affect stats.

Ask Bama how our red zone d is

here's the jist of the whole thing.

We know you've got a great team.

You don't respect how good we actually are.

It's gonna be an awesome game.

We have no idea because the one team that is a top tier team on your schedule you got beat down by. Not to mention y'all struggled against Ole Miss and should have lost to Vandy.

We've given as good as we've gotten on sacks this year (120 given/120 gotten), even with our two Sr DE's out much of the season. Now that they're back, in the last three games, we've gotten 9 sacks and given up 3 (while facing the likes of Ingram, Clowney, & Cox), so it's definitely trending in the right direction even when facing quality DL.
