seriously, wtf is wrong with like 1/3 of our fanbase (or perhaps it's just a bi-product of Tiger Rant)?
Consider:
1) ESPN hates LSU
Simply not true and not possible. So long as LSU wins, ESPN will love LSU.
2) "But the ______ has better stats in ____ per ____"
The only stats that matter are the points on the scoreboard. PERIOD.
3) "This particular commentator is biased"
Not that much really, you are just noticing that the commentator doesn't verbally express the same level of enthusiasm and adulation for LSU as you do. And, unless it is Tim Brando, why should he/she show even the slightest?

I like them, too, but every minute, no. I think they are fair, and Danileson obviously knows the game and its miniscule intricacies. He gives you a good insight into the play and how it is set up. I respect them both, and each has a separate role. It's like a buddy movie. Danielson is the tech guy who's hired to blow up the bank. Verne is more the glad handing guy talking things up and diverting your attention.
When the movie comes out, DAnielson will be played by George Clooney and John Goodman will be Verne Lundquist.
