weird cuz by the end of the 1st season, i was sick of Sheldon, but not so much anymore. you can tell the writing is above average for sure.

Good lord. Why wouldn't you love BBT because of Nerd Humor when your number one TV couple is JD and Turk?

Yeah but Turk wasn't a nerd and you could say JD wasn't a nerd either expect when he would act goofy but in no way would you qualify them as in the same boat as the guys on BBT.
JD could pull women whenever and Turk was the man.

In fact, in no way is JD and Turk nerds. They have respectful jobs that aren't nerdy. They pull girls whenever they want. Just because they act goofy at bars and wherever doesn't qualify them and nerds especially Leonard/Sheldon nerds.

I think like most chuck lorre comedies it sucks. It tries to disguise itself as smart with all of the science language, but its still formulaic bland crap.

I've given it a fair chance, especially since TBS has decided to show it all day every day. Just not a fan.

They actually changed up the formula starting last season, and for the worse IMO. Now they've given Penny 2 nerdy girlfriends and it's becoming a nerdy version of Friends. It has its moments, but the show was much better when it was 4 super geeky guys and the hot but unattainable neighbor girl.

Once everyone stated this, it bugged me but after 5 episodes I didn't even notice. Thanks for bringing it up again
