Ok, I'm almost always against the "should we" game that pops up every time a big name becomes available. Tonight, though, I got to thinking. First off, Kreutz is most likely looking at a year with a team capable of getting him a ring. From what it sounds like, we are planning on Tennant being our future center, with Goodwin most likely looking for a good bit of money and around 4 years. So, my point being is why not bring one of the games best centers and a great leader in for a year to let Tennant get another quality year to protect our blessed Breesus.

Sounds good, let me call my boy Loomis and put in a good word for him.
I think he would be a good pick up to for a 1 year contract. Let him groom Tenant to be the starter next season.

Thought the same thing when I saw him released. If they cannot come to terms with Goodwin he would be a perfect one year bridge to Tennant. With the way they've been able to keep players there's gotta be some pressure on Goodwin to stay for another SB run as long as the their offer is in the ballpark.

I love this idea if we can't come to terms with Goodwin. Bring him in for one year, let him work with Tennant and what a great, great locker room addition.

I'm with you on this too. I'm up here in Chicago and they pushed him out over $250K (they say 500k but had the bears offered to split the difference he would have taken it). The guy would fit in perfect with the line, add toughness/leadership - Brees was just talking about how Stinchcomb keeps people motivated. You don't stay motivated around Olin you get a bad mofo in your face calling you out. Damn good target for a one year bridge to the guy that they see as the future.

Did anyone see on NFL Live how pissed the players are in Chicago. Get them Bitches back for that crap from the playoff game. Nice slap in the face!
