Should be fine on Wednesday I would think. I am thinking likely be okay on Friday in Slidell. I can't remember what the goal flow was in 2008 when they opened it, but it took about a week to get to Slidell and 3-4 days to get to the Causeway. It also went to the southshore first last time and then the northshore.

Check out my post from yesterday about the spillway opening in 2008. I posted a link to a satelite image of the lake from 18 days after it opened. The entire north side of the lake still seemed unaffected.

And so far they have only opened 28 of the bays so the flow should take longer. In 2008 they opened 150-175
