Your Dad might be just trying to avoid a cluster. If they could back up behind you and call, that’s great. If they’re just along for the ride, you’ll hunt better without them.

I would call the LDWF and ask to make sure. I know in Mississippi, 2 adults can hunt with a kid during youth season for non lottery hunts, but the lottery hunts may be different.

true, kind of tough to leave their daddy out of it. we were going to be splitting up so it wouldn't be 4 adults and 2 kids on one bird.

There needs to be an understanding that it’s tougher with more people and someone may have to lay back a bit and listen to the hunt from a distance.

Also, if an adult is participating in the hunt they have to have a license.
