I've wondered about using one of these. I know they use them all the time up north in basement land and they see constant use.

Have you noticed or figured out what it does to your electric bill?

Obviously the best situation is to have gravity remove your water but in some situations that is not possible or feasible. And in low country like La it seems like it could be practical in many situations to run a pump but I do wonder if it ends up being expensive ticket on the power bill.

LINK . Where you located uway? This is similar to what I have installed. We did an 1 1/2 pvc outfall and gravity drainage to the sump. Best case scenario is to have a backup generator so the pump always runs even with power loss.
