I’ll get deer and antelope points. Thought about applying in random along with my elk hunt, but decided one animal would be enough.

I drew Elk and missed on Antelope this year.

Didn't draw Elk or Antelope with 6 points for each. Elk wasn't surprising but Antelope was disappointing.

Pronghorn was my last chance to get a rifle hunt in September before baby is due in early October, nada for me.

Will just do OTC archery in Colorado as my only hunt

Successful for deer, muley/whitetail in area A.

I will be in Black Hills National Forrest during the rut.
Just bought a wood stove for the tent and now, we wait.

Not sure the seasons overlap date wise. (At least the area my guide is near Jackson)

Holy crap. Figure antelope would be easy! I bought one point in 2020 and drew by using non resident special

We discussed using the non resident special but elected to go with just the non resident. When we started applying to the unit it was 3 or 4 points but its gone up to 7 last year.

A week difference in start dates between elk and deer where I’m hunting.

Put down a low points second choice for antelope. You’ll likely draw and also retain your points.

Exactly right. My guide said it’s becoming a once in a lifetime hunt due to ever increasing point requirements. They get you to buy a decade of points to go once

I drew antelope but missed out on deer. I was hoping to have a tag for both in my pocket.
