Sounds like you dont want to give up location, but is that bear pic at your place north of hwy 10 (trying to not be too specific)?
If so, we've never seen them around there.

for the one asking about pearl river county.. i live outside columbia close to tylertown ms, Someone 2 yrs ago had a pic of a huge bear on camera, and last yr someone had a mama bear and 2 cubs on camera not 7-8 miles from me. im yet to see any

I hunt in Sandy hook south of 48 and about 3 miles west of 35. Ill keep my eyes open. Have not seen any sign of a bear but you never know

It's north of hwy 10, east of the Miss River, west of hey 61 and south of the La/miss state line. That's about as specific as ill get. Ftr I know of several bear sightings in the past 10 years in that area. One 400lb sow tht was on Angola property a few years ago. Been probably over 10 years since I've heard of any west of hwy 61

Gotcha, thought it might be on your spillman place. Never seen em in that area. And yeah, the area you described is known to have them.

When I was about 16 I saw something on a back road between Spillman and East Feliciana that I swore was a bear. At the time nobody was really talking about hogs so that may have been what I saw. If it was a hog, it was a big hairy one

I'll have to keep an eye out man. That's in my neck of the woods too. I haven't heard of a sighting for a few years.
