Another area of SA/DA superiority - you can recycle the trigger with your thumb OR continue to dry fire DA (with or without a snap cap) for muscle memory/trigger training/flinch reduction.

With the striker - you have to rack that slide back...every...single...time.

At least it doesn't have to travel the full length...

Hold sights on target, slowly press with the pad of your finger, feel the break, follow through, keep sights on target.


The great thing about it is that you don't even have to go to the range to practice. He should have his wife watch TV and dry fire at her favorite celebrities every night. If she does this she will have no flinch problems when she goes to the range.

I do this several nights a week, I always aim at the channel logo in the bottom right though because it doesn't move
