I will admit sometimes just being a smartass in regards to a few topics.
But this is a serious non flame question,
I have a few flashlights and extra batteries in the hall closet type place. And one in my hunting bag and in the vehicles.
But why the need to have them all over the house, and/or on your person at all times? I mean if I lose power in my home, I can feel my way to the closet and get the flashlights out.
Secondly, where do yall put this stuff to carry around, gun, knife, flashlight, wallet, keys, and phone?

I work nights so I use mine all the time. I wear Tru-Spec cargo pants and the flashlight fits perfectly in the knife/light pocket. They'll also work great for conceal carry when I get home because of the elastic in the waistband. Just need to get a good leather belt now.

Well for one thing there are 3 other people in our home,so that accounts for 3 lights by the night stands of each kid and on wife's side of the bed. Then one in our tv room, and one by the back door and one in the wash room for when i clean the lent out of the dryer hose, and one light in the kids bathroom in case they are bathing and power goes out ( which has happened more than once. Now i don't carry a light on me, but i find it strange that you can't see someone having several in their home, but your comment does not offend me...just saying!

I suppose I just think differently about it, I tell my kids just feel yourself around. My boys would have those light used for spotlighting nutria rats in about three mnutes, well my older one would, and my little one would just follow along.

Ever since i started carrying concealed i started carrying a flashlight. Its really something i never thought about taking with me everywhere but it actually gets a ton of use.
Danchase, me too.....
In addition, last Christmas I bought a small Cree light for each of my kids' cars. You'll find two in my truck right now. Plus 2 on my side of the bed and one on the wife's side of the bed! I've even got an order from DealExtreme enroute w/ a green flashlight. Disappointed w/ DealExtreme though since it took 5 days to process the order and has been enroute for 10 days..... In addtion, the tracking doesn't really work. Has anyone else here ever dealt w/ DealExtreme?
