I’m using a pack given to me by a guy at our church who used to live out there. It’s a military issue frame pack.
Going to have a base camp and walk out from there every am. Outfitter sets up the base camp and we ride in on horses. They drop us off and pick us up 6 days later. As far as hunting goes we’re on our own

We are borrowing packs from an avid elk hunter. Packing in and setting up base camp then going out to hunt from there.
