Hunted catahoula yesterday. Same there. It was rough.

First off, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota all had late freezes this year. Secondly, they've had a ton of high water in southern Illinois. Lots of places for ducks to drop in, hang out and not be disturbed.

i got 10 pintails on maybe 4 hunts..

Geuaxbrown. Just some FYI. Ducks are suppose to naturally migrate on Photo. Not how frozen a state is or how much water is in any given area in the north. yes we all know that has in fact changed significantly since the 70’s. And your analogy is only 2 of the many contributing factors to why they don’t anymore
