I’m just sad of seeing corrupt politicians sell out the state and our resources to the highest bidder.

He did the same while in congress and why he lost to Boustany. He tried to screw LOUISIANA based indie offshore oil and gas to make $100's of millions for the workboat industry. These were already producing fields he tried to make uneconomical. He's always been for sale.

Although JBE irked me with his following every Biden mandate during Covid

He started by following the recommendations of the Trump administration. DJT was in the White House from the beginning of covid in early 2020 until Jan. 20, 2021.

JBE is probably as good a gov as Louisiana could elect. Not perfect, but relatively honest and not using the office to run for another office at the expense of LA. We'll likely see more Jindal and Landry types down the road.

Sadly, I don’t think Louisiana will change in my lifetime. This is a state run by trial lawyers for trial lawyers. Lawyers do not produce anything, they only destroy. You are all watching them destroy our state, first insurance next the ecosystem.

Anyone saying that JBE wasn’t so bad compared to Landry, you need to wake up. JBE was terrible, and Landry is just as bad. There is no difference between them, the D and the R is irrelevant.

We have to stop electing lawyers and their candidates if we want these problems fixed.

JBE was not that liberal.

I kind of agree with that, but his stance on Covid restrictions pissed me off.
