One thing I have learned is that these cameras generate a lot of moisture inside of them in our art of the country. I started leaving the controls/battery door slightly cracked and my cameras (several brands) have been lasting a lot longer. I also take them out of the woods as soon as the season ends

This will be a lot like which truck is best. The kind folks are using will be what they recommend the most. I have had several different brands over the past 10-15 years or so. Some pretty good. Some not so good. For my money nowadays, I use the wireless cameras. Saves me time and effort going get it out of the woods to see what it's getting on film. I've got a LtL Acorn that is going on 5 years old. I've sent it back once to get an external antenna mounted on it so that I could add a 10 foot cable and larger antenna for areas with very low signal strength. Great customer service, and it has held up through a lot of bad weather over the past 5 years. It typically stays out year round.
