My boss just bought a big plot of land in the foothills of Mt. Cheaha in the Oxford/Munford area

I live just on the other side of the big hill.

The Smokeys are pretty, but I really wasn’t impressed with the views. It doesn’t come close to the mountain views of the West.

Maybe the views in the winter are better with the leaves on the trees gone, but when I was there this past summer, all I saw were trees.

We live in Monroe, so living in the shadow of Driskill Mountain has really given so a sense of the beauty of the mountains.
Have you or anyone you know conquered the summit of Driskill Mountain? Quite an accomplishment.

No, I have not. I've spoken with a local who could outfit me for it, but I gotta save up his fee....$5000 .
