That's a hell of a story.

I bought a tract timberland in the De-Soto National Forest in MS 4 years ago. The first year a game-warden came by, did not check for licensees, orange, feeders or anything; he said he "just wanted to see if we were using the place" and promptly left. I always wondered if he was looking for a new hunting spot. I never saw him or evidence of a trespasser after that.

I hope you got a new spot to hunt this year.
