It is a brown anole and he is correct, they've made their way here in pottery and plants. You can find plenty of them at Louisiana Nursery on Perkins in Baton Rouge. They've survived the past several winters, so I think they're here to stay.

I think I caught him with the pressure washer before and it split his tail and another grew. Either way its pretty cool. We keep him away from my dog so he has been around for a while. Cant really tell in the picture but he is huge compared to all the other ones around.
