The worker bees are all female

Drones are the only males and there only job is to mate then die after there reproductive organ is ripped off of them during the process.

Swarms are usually docile. I’ve heard it’s hard for the bees to sting because they load up with honey before the swarm flight so it’s harder for them to get in position to sting.
