We bought him as a mini dachshund, but he ended up being mixed with something else. I love the big fricker though. Here are the two of us a few weeks ago. The shirt was complimentary of Mrs El Josey Wales:

Grew up with dachshunds, they are the shite. Currently have a lab/golden/cocker/king charles mix.

Man, you have no idea. The wife and I had some pretty gut wrenching conversations before the baby got here. Shelbi was wild as hell the first 2.5 years (almost 3 now), and we thought we may have to get rid of her when the baby came. When we got home Monday afternoon with the baby from the hospital (she was born Saturday), I carried the baby in and my wife went to let Shelbi out of her kennel. I squatted down with the baby in my arms and Shelbi ran full bore towards me and as soon as she saw/smelled the baby she hit the floor flat as a pancake and didn't move until I told her to.
