re: what kind of animals have ya'll killed with your vehicles?

I didn't miss it but din't have a good comeback

Squirrels, Porcupines, a Marmot.

I have hit two deer and a moose and all lived.

I ran over a mouse a couple of months ago. They were harvesting cane and it came darting out the field. I thought that was pretty cool.

I've never hit anything big, and no dogs or cats, but the usual south LA roadkill victims (coon, possum, snake, turtle, birds, etc)

Now for the unusual: An owl. Coming home LATE one night from an all night Electrical Engineering lab...it flew into the door of my Ford Ranger. It was like 2am...and I was on Hwy 27 South of Sulphur...so I stopped trying to figure out what in the hell hit my truck...backed up and it was flipping out on the road. I did the same thing...one morning I found a screech owl hung in the grille of my truck...the little fricker was cool as hell...I really felt bad about it dying...

I KO'd a husky one night going to work in the fog. I guess he never saw me just ran right in the side of my truck.

The worst thing was a fawn than ran out of the woods and right into my truck.

Other than that I've ran over probably everything that Flys, walks, crawls, or hops in the south.

The strangest thing was in my bass boat going across the lake at night without a spotlight. I hit something and it fell into the boat. My partner started saying he had something in his eyes that was burning. Turns out it was a mallard duck that I knocked the shite out of and it went in his eyes. It didn't even kill it but I about died laughing at him.
