Nothing finer than a wood duck and a green winged teal.

I try to pass on black jacks, ringneckis, spoonies and any other scaup species. Also, chicken beaked ducks and cordon negro.

spoons, blackjack, scaup all get breasted out to make duck bombs

teal, woodies, mallards, greys all get plucked and cooked in a black iron pot with a nice gravy


we don't pass on shooting anything....except water turkeys....except yesterday. buddy thought it was a speck lol he shot like shite all morning but of course he busted the wt's arse

don't come in here trying to use the proper name for that damn bird

he smoked it pretty good, but didn't kill it. it fell in the water, but didn't die. it eventually swam off

all diving ducks,
spoonbills,
merganzers

i will shoot and eat divers but will breast out, marinate, and make gumbo

puddle ducks get cooked down in gravy or bbq breast meat.

best tasting ducks.....woodie, teal, mallard

king daddy bird....specklebelly. nothing finer.
