Sorry no pictures yet. I was asked if I would like to sell my mud boat today and don't really have a clue what it is worth. The hull was built at my family's shipyard out of aluminum. 14' hull with a fan tail. Four foot bottom and a 60" deck. Hand tiller with center mounted engine with expanded metal cover. Driver sits ontop of the engine. Engine is a 3.0L inline four cylinder 135hp mercruiser that is keel cooled like a tug. No raw water suction. Turns a 10x12 wheel and makes about 35 mph. Complete instrument cluster and 12v receptacle for spot light. Sits on magic tilt trailer with rollers and side guards. Never put in salt water. Boat was built in 1996 and cost about $15k to make. Since there isn't a blue book for this kind of thing I thought I would ask the OB what you would pay for such a thing.

NOTE TO ADMINS I am not trying to sell on here merely looking for help on an asking price.

What you have for power? I think I may have to just sell to this guy for what I can get since it is hard to sell a high powered mudboat. Our old lease had no horsepower restrictions. hell we had one with a 5.7L 260 shaft horsepower

Those subarus are some damn good mud boat engines. They are fairly quiet as well.

put it on the sportsman, you'd be suprised what people will pay. My old mudboat i was hoping to get 3k for, i listed it at 7500 and dude offered me 7k i was pumped. Put it on at a high price and then see what happens

I will have to give this guy first crack at it as he approached me and is a foreman at my family's company. He has been seeing it in the warehouse where I have it stored and caught me off guard today with the inquiry. I haven't used the damn thing in a few years but it still runs fine. I was thinking around $3500 due to the age even though you couldn't replace the damn engine for that price.

I bet you could get 6-8 for it, if trailer is nice.

Motor alone is at least half that.

We just switched our 4 mud boats for gatortails a couple of years ago.
